Lobster Quadrille Doesn't Need An Amen
A local counter culture (i think this has to do with the germ civilisation in kitchens) paper featured our band this week! I thought I should explain the picture on the cover...
Jeremiah Johnson, i.e. solomon, graces the foreground with a very serious expression- clearly nervous about bears.
The rest of us wade in the background praying for his victory over the hidden Great Lake Bear. Solomon wields the sign of our Lord hoping to ward off the fearsome creature. Minutes passed slowly, flowing off the universal clock like so much molasses. After what seemed like an eternity, on solomons mark, the tambourines clanged, the washboard clattered, two members of the band drowned themselves just for effect, and slowly the bear climbed back up the hill away from Ontario Beach.
